TRIBUNAL INQUIRIES

From time to time the Government will direct the Tribunal to into inquire into particular issues. The Tribunal’s completed inquiry reports are listed at the bottom of this page.

On 21 January 2021, Government announced that the Tribunal would inquire into recognition for members and families of members who are injured, wounded or killed in or as a result of service.  The terms of reference for this inquiry can be found here.  The media release from the Minister for Defence Personnel can be found here.

While the nominal closing date for submissions set out in the Terms of Reference has passed, the Tribunal continues to accept submissions to this inquiry. Submissions should be lodged by 31 May 2021.

HOW CAN I MAKE A SUBMISSION TO AN INQUIRY?

When a matter is referred to the Tribunal for inquiry a call for submissions is made.

Interested members of the public are invited to lodge a submission with the Tribunal, after reviewing the Terms of Reference.
